Youth
will learn to care for, tack and groom horses and ponies, ride
a basic balance seat and practice a variety of warm-up exercises,
play games with walk cross rails plus more for advanced riders.
At the end of the week
a show will be presented to the parents so they can see the skills
their children have learned.
Free Spirit
Stables at Rushing Winds Farm has safe riding rings where kids
will learn riding and caring for horses through the hands-on approach.
Arts and crafts as well as water activities will be part of the
program. Helmets and boots provided at no additional cose (feel
free to bring your own if you have them), but closed toe shoes
are required.
Youth will need to bring a non-perishable lunch, a water bottle,
a beach towel, and sunscreen.

Free Spirit
Stables at Rushing Winds Farm is proud to offer our Jump Camp
dedicated to teaching adults and adolescents the techniques and
timing involved in "jumping horses." Please note that
our Jump Camp is for advanced riders only with a solid horseback
riding background and specialized training. Ask us about pricing
for our Jump Camp.
Come and visit
our farm and facility. We would be happy to provide you and your
guests a tour of our farm or even an inside peak at one of our
lessons in session. Feel free to take a look at our horses in
person, feed them or just get to know our staff. Our next open
house will be in October of this year and includes music, kid's
activities, food and of course a horse show and riding activities.
After lots
of practice and hard work our riders at Free Spirit Stables at
Rushing Winds Farm get to "show" off their stuff as
part of our Fall and Spring Shows every year. Come watch your
child blossom in the spotlight riding his/her sponsored horse
in front of an audience! Our Fall & Spring Shows are our graduation
proceedings for our riders and their parents and family members.
